TAKRAF Group secures major equipment order for phosphate operation in North Africa
TAKRAF India says it has been successfully awarded a key equipment supply contract for a phosphate mining operation in North Africa, with the project scope including the engineering and delivery of four state-of-the-art TAKRAF Compact Spreaders, each equipped with an intermediate bridge and tripper.
This order highlights TAKRAF Group’s growing role as a trusted solutions provider in the region’s mining and bulk material handling sector and underscores its commitment to delivering highly engineered systems that meet the evolving needs of its clients, the company says. Each TAKRAF spreader is designed to handle coarse reject material from phosphate mining processes.
Key technical highlights of each machine include:
- Discharge boom length: 37.5 m
- Intermediate bridge length: 37.5 m
- Boom conveyor width: 1,200 mm
- Dump height: 13 m
- Number of crawlers: two
- Crawler width: 2 m
