ERM to Participate in Mining Indaba 2026 in Cape Town
ERM will participate in the Investing in African Mining Indaba 2026, taking place from 9–12 February 2026 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre in Cape Town.
Since its launch in 1994, Mining Indaba has grown into the most influential and prestigious gathering in Africa’s mining calendar, bringing together senior mining executives, global investors, policymakers, and industry innovators to shape the future of the continent’s mining sector.
As the global mining industry faces mounting pressure to decarbonise, improve social performance, and strengthen environmental stewardship, Mining Indaba has positioned sustainability at the centre of its agenda. The conference provides a platform for high-level dialogue on how innovation, technology, and collaboration can reduce environmental impacts, enhance operational safety, and generate shared value for host communities and governments.
Through its programme, Mining Indaba promotes responsible mining practices that safeguard ecosystems, strengthen local economies, and support long-term, inclusive growth across African mining jurisdictions.
ERM has been an active participant at Mining Indaba for more than seven years and will once again attend with a dedicated team of mining specialists. ERM’s experts support mining companies across the project lifecycle, addressing strategic, operational, technical, and regulatory challenges.
The ERM team specialises in helping mining companies develop resilient projects and portfolios, embed robust environmental and social governance frameworks, and future-proof operations while maintaining profitability in an increasingly complex global operating environment.
Mining Indaba 2026 is expected to draw thousands of stakeholders from across the mining value chain, reinforcing its role as a critical forum for advancing sustainable and responsible mining in Africa.
